MillerCoors, one of the largest beer brewing companies in the world, has partnered with the Thurgood Marshall Fund to honor students with scholarships that can help them pay for the tuition to attend one of the nation's HBCUs or PBIs. Their commitment to diversity can also been in the business competitions that they offer for African American entreprneeurs.
Winning students of the program will be awarded a one-year scholarship for the upcoming academic school year,  awards are used to cover the costs of tuition and fees, on-campus room and board and required textbooks purchased from member schools.

Eligibility Requirements:

* Must be 21 years of age or older by June 1st in any classification

* Must be enrolled as a full-time student at one of TMCF’s 47 member-schools

*Must hold a current GPA of 3.0 or higher

* Must demonstrated financial need

* Must exhibit leadership abilities through a variety of measures

* Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent legal resident with valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

Completed applications must also include, a resume, a Student Aid Report (received from filing FAFSA), a most recent (official or unofficial) college transcript and a recommendation from a current school professor or faculty member (must be completed online by recommender). Applicants must also respond to a provided essay question.

The scholarship deadline is usually in MAY, and the award amount is up to $6,700.
