Boeing HBCU Immersion Program

The Boeing Company, the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes, has established a partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, to help create the next generation of future innovators from current HBCU students. The program is more than just a scholarship program; Boeing is offering hands-on training experience.
The Boeing Immersion is a highly aggressive program that will bring the sharpest freshmen and sophomores from Boeing’s partner HBCUs together for a three-day, inclusive introduction to the company. Assisted by Boeing leaders and the HBCU strategy team, this program will provide students with advanced knowledge and awareness of Boeing products and services.

Students will also discover countless possibilities within future careers in business, IT, engineering and in all the aerospace industry has to offer. Students chosen for the Boeing Immersion Program will have the opportunity to experience Boeing’s collaborative culture while giving Boeing leaders an exclusive opportunity to engage highly-sought freshmen and sophomores from its partner HBCUs.

To qualify for this opportunity students must

* Be enrolled full-time at one of the Boeing HBCU partner schools
* Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; preferred 3.3
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills
* Exhibit strong communication skills
* Be able to participate in, and successfully complete all program-related activities
* Meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required
* Be a US citizen, a lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
* Not show any disciplinary violations on academic record

The deadline for this program is usually in FEBRUARY, and the award amount VARIES.
