Kia Motors America Black History Month

Kia Motors America, which manufactures a wide range of sports sedans, hybrids, electric cars, has partnered with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) to offer need-based scholarships to African American students who are able to maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. The program is specifically for college juniors and seniors that attend an HBCU.
Applicants must major in one of the following STEM disciplines: Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or Sustainability/Environmental science.

Applicants must submit an online application for the program, complete with a letter of recommendation, a one-page personal statement of your career interest, and a current college transcript.

Preference will be given to applicants who are permanent residents of California.

The award amount for this scholarship amount is up to $3,000, and the deadline is usually in JANUARY.
